master/slave issues

I just hooked up a CDRW and now its reading as the only drive. I assume this is a master/slave issue, so how do I fix it so the master drive is the CDROM and the slave is the CDRW? Will this let 'my computer' see both drives?

Hi, The jumper settings should be a label on the top of the drive.

Summary: It is definitely a master/slave issue. As Ham said WD are a little different in that aspect. He is also correct that it has nothing to do with the fact that there is an O/S on both drives. Have a look...
