Right i have 3 107d (pioneer) in my system and when i burn my buffers goes up and down and increases the burn time by upto double. I have the latest firmware on all and have defrag my drives so i know its none of these that causing the prob. However if i write to my master only it burns fine... but when i burn to master n slave my buffer keeps kickin in. They are both on same ide and when i change my slave to master it is fine so i know the writer isnt on its way out.. Can some help plz ????

So what's the problem? Burn to your master which you say is the one that works. Most probably when you burn to your slave, it does not have the same system priority that your master does, assuming both drives have equal specs.

yes all drives are of equal specs but when i want to do a multi burn (i.e 3) the buffers start going up n down?. I thought that it should go Master / slave / slave ??? correct ??? but y do the slaves not get the same prioity ? and i know there nothing wrong with 2 slaves as i have set to master on both and no buffer issues ! .
