For those who may be having this problem. If you have a mother board with the latest series of Marvell Yukon 1/100/1000 Gigabit lan controller and have recently started having problems with lockups while using some web progrmas like FTP Clients / Emule etc.. If the latest driver you have is the one available from the Microsoft Windows Update Site, this sucker is your problem. Down load the last version available from Marvel, or reinstall the driver from your Mother board support cd, to fix the problem. The driver form MS has an issue, exactly what is not clear.... Just depends on the model of your lan card. I did state for those who may be having the lock up issue. it doesnt have a problem in normal operation, its only with specific type of programs... It is also related to the 88e801/8003/8010 its not specific to my board it has also shown up in another rig with a intel based board.
