I'm trying to map a network drive that has a passworded share.
In the Map Network Drive function it states that I'll connect to the Drive as default :COMPUTERNAME\USERNAME which is the user I want connected to the drive. When I hit Finish to complete the Map it asks for a password, which I have assumed to mean the password to the network share I wish to connect to. Then it logs me in with no problems. When I reboot and automatically reconnect the network drive it states I have entered an incorrect password for the share, but...it's not incorrect. Am I missing something here?

The batch file connects me to the drives and enters the password so that when I do use Windows Explorer to view the drive I don't have to enter the password.
However, I was hoping to find a fix or a registry edit that would allow me to enter the password information in the original "Map Network Drive" command. As it stands now, when I restart the computer the network drives can't be connected because of the invalid password message.
If I try to map the drive without specifying a user (using the default user) it asks me to enter the password of the share, however when you try to connect it tries to logon as \\TheComputerI'mTryingToConnectTo\Guest
Thanks again Johnw. This is a workable work around to the problem.
