I recently upgraded my computer. and being lazy decided to do a repair install rather than a full reinstall(would take days out of my life restoring all my old apps). Everything is up and running but with many programs the computer freezes(not really freezes since everything in the background keeps moving and so does the mouse) and wont let me alt+tab or ctrl+alt+del away from the loading app. i have to wait for at least a minute before i can ctrl+alt+del and suddenly the application resumes loading and everything continues to work as normal. its almost as if everything pauses while its loading and refuses to continue until i crtl+alt+del. anyone have any idea on what could be causign this and how i can go about fixing it?

so an interesting thing happened. i lowered my northbridge voltage(1.4->1.3) and suddenly everything is working fine:D. who wouldve thought a slight overvolt on the northbridge would mess up windows so badly.
