go to My Network Places, open Network Connections, right click on the Local Area Connection and go to Properties. Double click Internet Protocol (tcp/ip) and put the dot in Use the Following IP Address and specify it. Hit ok a time or 2 and there ya go. Cheers, William

How do I know what to change it to? I am trying to network 2 computers. I had previously networked but now have upgraded to a new computer and it is telling me that the IP addresses are the same and I need to change the other computer.
