Hi~
I am now having a question on my screensaver in WinXP.
If I want to manually active my screensaver, does it have any hotkey to start the screensaver?
Sometimes I don't want to idle the system for a long time, but I need to set a password lock on my computer.
So I think that screensaver lock is the best way.
But I cannot start the screensaver manually.
Any one can help me?

Thanks for help.

just do ctrl+alt+del and hit 'K' this will lock the machine

you can also create a shortcut to the screensaver file and then double click that ;)

I should tell you that having a Shortcut Key to activate Screensaver DOES NOT WORK.
That is to say, if Screensaver password is check
marked, and you bring up Screensaver that way, then password thing WILL NOT WORK until Display
Properties setting times out.

e.g.- My Display Properties is set for 10 min.
I then activate Screensaver now. Then 10 min. later, the Display Properties Screensaver kicks-in, and now it is password protected.

If you want quick locking, do
Windows key + L
