Hi,
I was just wondering as I do not know what to search on the net if anoyone knows how to make XP home right click proof.
There is this girl who unfortunately has a hadicap, but still would like to use the computer. They have special games for her to play and she apparently love them.
The right click button seems to be the trouble though especially on the desktop. This box is not hooked to the net fortunately.
She has changed the resolution, so it is almost impossbile to see the screen and many other things.
They went to the trouble to tape down the right click button, but I suspect this maybe some of the trouble.
This box would need to just have desktop links to the games and no taskbar, but how to shut it off. CRTL ALT DEL, maybe this would cause more problems?
Snip wire in mouse, or is there a left click only mouse like in apple?
Does windows have any configurations like this? Doesn't have an xserver file to configure so I could just edit out the button.
Any ideas welcomed.

ok never thought of that one, but what about not being able to get into the control panel and stuff as well, let alone the start button except for shutdown.
It is windows home and user permissions are highly unlikely right?
I'll see what I can do with the mouse. Thanks, silly me.

Hi,
Rt click on start button / properties / select start menu not classic / customize / advanced / control panel / select dont display this item.

You can also set her up on a guest acount so that when you reboot after something bad it should go back to normal.

Hey speaking of he guest account, why can people still install stuff and access the control panel in it. Shouldn't not be allowed to install?
Or do u have to set a password for home to care about this?
Just like it won't keep pay attention to user permissions if you don't have passwords.
