Norton Ghost is $25 on Pricewatch. That's pretty cheap. It's worth way more than that. Think of the time it may save you.

Hi guys,
The answer to your question is a very simple YES. And it's FREE, configurable and versatile. Here to download "Emergency Boot CD ROM"
http://www.short-media.com/download.php?dc=59It will restore your system to its orignal state when it was created.
You might also want to go here http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/
This program will backup and optimise your registry.
Enjoy.
