Hey, is there anyway to use Windows XP as a print server. You know how Win2kServer can be used as a print server....[like the printer gets an IP address and connects via Cat5.] Well can this be done in XP?

Ummm... you can make it a print server, but XP has a 10 concurrent connection limit. So you can't have more than 10 people connecting to the machine at the same time.

If it's a network printer, just configure a printer for the IP address of the printer, then just Share the printer. Just like with W2K.

If it's a local printer, just connect it to the back of the machine, then Share it...
