Mainboard 50
CPU 55
HDD 43

These are the usual system temps. with an
ambient temp. of 30.
Only light computer usage.
Are they excessively high? Should I
investigate possible causes
and/or remedies?

[all temps. degrees Centigrade]

I think it is high, my ambient is 10C,
MB 23C and cpu 39C. True your ambient is 30C
but the MB & CPU temps should be much lower.

Thats a little high but expected with an ambient temp of 30, clean your cpu fan and the case, make sure you have enough air flow through the case, invest in a better CPU fan/heatsink. As for airflow put one fan in the front sucking air in, one in the back pushing it out.
