First I formatted a hard drive to Fat32 on my PC then physically moved the HD to a Mac G4. Booted it up and moved some files onto it. 8 Gigs worth. Great. Turned off the G4 and removed the HD and relocated it into my PC and when accessing the drive in My Computer it says it isn't formatted. When I run a check within Partition Magic I get "Error 45 CRC error in data" I've tried a few times and even "Ejected or unmounted" the hard drive within the Mac OS prior to shut down.
Yikes, what can I do?

I've shared MP3s with a Mac user via USB HD FAT32; no hitch.

Since PM finds CRC probs in data, see if the Mac is using "DOS/WIN illegal chards" in paths / filenames.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

MACs can read PC discs, but PCs cannot read MAC disks (not the same as reading data from a share). Once you put that drive into a MAC it will be unusable by a PC without a format.

Put the disc back into the MAC and copy all of the data off. Then put the disc in the PC and reformat. Lastly, connect the two device via a crossover cable or Router then transfer the data back to the PC.

Yes I know what you're both saying. They are on the same router/hub so now I'm trying to share that folder via a google search and without software but no succes YET.
Good replys, thank you both.

OK no you can't switch HD. But I did figure it out. On the mac in the owner HOME's public folder you drop the files. On the PCNetwork places you find the other computer -but I can't really remember how exactly. I may've enter the MAc's IP address. Works. Thanks.
