What are you connecting to? In Device Manager is the network Adaptor listed and shown as working? Did this system ever work or is this a newly installed operating system in an old system? Do you mean Dell Inspiron 100 or 1000? In Control Panel> Network Connections what if anything is listed?
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

there is a problem with some SIS-900s. I'm sure I've read about this before. as far as i can remember if you get the latest driver it sorts it out.

it's a Dell Inspiron 1000, It worked before with XP Home. I just wiped the drive and installed XP Pro. Where can I find the latest driver for it. I found one on DriverGuide.com, but it didn't work.
