Lsass.exe restarting my computer

CPU/Ram: 1GHz 256mb Ram

All of a sudden, about 3 days ago, the process lsass.exe has been failing, and it causes a window to open that puts a 60 second countdown timer until my computer restarts. What is causing this problem?

Also get the latest XP updates. This was corrected a month ago.
