OS: XP Home
CPU/Ram: P4 3.4 / 1.5gb
Comment:

Main concern with this is the fact i'm getting around 1/2 fps on World of Warcraft specs are as follows.

CPU P4 3.4 lg775
Ram 1.5gb running at 266(got one old slow chip in there)
GFX Radeon 9800 pro (128mb)
Mobo Asrock 775s61

I was running the same gfx with a old 2ghz p4 system with 1024 ram untill last week and had the same problems, hence why i upgraded and still no change. also cpu is running around 82c but i believe ill make another thread on that one

thanks

Hi Xand.

I believe when you mix slower RAM chips with faster RAM chips the computer defaults to the slower speed.

Take care,

Yeah, it's running at 266 due to having an old 266 in there.

replace the ram. don't cripple your machine using older ram.
