Low disk space how to resize boot partition

Hewlett-packard G71-340us notebook

Specs: Win XP, 1.8/2 GB
I am having Win XP in C Drive but space on
my C drive has gone very less. Out of 5 GB
only 500 MB are left. However, in D drive 10
GB free space is available
Can i resize my C driver without spoiling my
Softwares and Operating system

First you need to perform a complete backup to remote media and test.

Then defrag both drives and use a partition program such as Partition magic or I forget the linux clone.

Then hopefully it will reboot to what you wanted.
