OK, I have this most weird problem. The company I work for uses lotus notes email and we have webmail access. It works best on IE. I have recently purchased this dell laptop brand new. It is on Win xp pro sp 2. The windows firewall is turned off and the windows pop up blocker is turned off. I have my companys web site added to the "trusted sites" in IE. I have Sun Java installed. I have recently converted from a wired network to a wireless network and I do not think that is the problem however, that is when the problem started. The really weird part is, it has stopped working on my other computers in my house now also. OK... the problem. When I go to my Lotus Notes webmail, I can log in fine, I can see my inbox, all my email and all my folders fine. I can see all the functional buttons fine... the new memo, forward and reply etc. The reason I mention that is because that toolbar is a java applet. The problem is, when I select a mail to "move" it to another folder, the pop up window that appears to select the folder to move the mail to does not have a scroll bar. The pop up window does not allow to be resized either. I can expand folders to see subfolders and some of the folder names are cut off by the bottom edge of the pop up window, but no scroll bar. So, I have uninstalled Java, shut down, restarted and reinstalled Java. I have deleted all the cookies and all the temporary internet files. I have done a windows update and there are Zero critical updates and 5 optional, but nothing Java related or activex related. The webpage otherwise works perfect. It is just for that vertical scroll bar when I try to move mail.
I hope someone has the answer.
PS... my webmail works fine on other computers, just none inside my house.
Thanks.
Andrew

I spoke with our web development administrator and our lotus notes administrator and both guys said to uninstall and reinstall java. Delete all history and all cookies. Make sure a windows update is done and make sure activex is up-to-date. I actually work in the IT area and provide desktop support. Both guys have not seen this before. Others in the IT area have not seen this before
