Lots of reformating damage hardrive

Right i got a question for all u people, we'll its not me asking the question but its a question from my mate he asked me but i dont have a clue!!
The Question is: If you keep reformating your hardrive does it damage it at all, or does it damage n e fing else!!

It wont damage your HDD, but it will shorten it's life depending on how often you do it.

Stop panicking, it's not a dramatic decrease in life. A good life for an HDD is 5 years, if I were to format it say, once a month, then you could probably knock a year, maybe a year and a half off it's life.
