I recently had an issue with the USB ports not working. They had worked fine but woke one morning and booted....boom they were gone. I was instructed to remove them from the device manager and xp would reinstall during reboot...not the case...it is now asking me for the drivers for the usb host controllers, that xp could not locate the drivers...I have tried a repair and tried to pull them from the xp disk. No luck, if anyone can help me because I don't want to format....thanx in advance
