Lost sent to desktop option on right click

December 19, 2010 at 23:07:08
Specs: Windows XP pro
After a clean install of xp Pro, I no longer have the option to send to desktop when I right click a file. The correct desktop link is in my send to folder and every other users. Other users don't have this problem, just me.

Send To - Add to Context Menu (Right Click).

Add SendTo the right click. Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Send To]

Create a new String value, or modify the existing value, called "(Default)" and set it to this value data:
"{7BA4C740-9E81-11CF-99D3-00AA004AE837}". Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
