3. My uncle's company has a problem with one of their pc's lost network connection. (WindowsXPprof) She came in on monday and her computer said that it found new hardware and installed it. Instead of the LAN net connection she has something else....I don't know. What should I tell her? is it as easy as re-enabling the LAN connection in the network connections folder????? what should I look for first(the connection from the pc to the router are ok)?

Have you tried reinstalling the network connection using the Network Wizard?? (Delete the original connection first if it's still showing on the Network Connections in Network Places.
