I seem to have deleted my H: and I: drives and therefore can not access my MMC card. Can anyone help me re-install the drives please?

What is shown in Disk Management?

I have a continuing problem with my cardreader not showing up.

Unplug the reader connections from the motherboard, re-boot. Plug back in, & boot up again.

Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.

The Disk management shows only Backup(d:), Boot (c:), Recover (E:) and Cd-rom (F:).

It is not something that has to do with the motherboard I believe. My son probably thought when cleaning the pc of files that i had made the pertitions H: and I: and he probably deleted them he said.

They're probably USB. In Device Manager, uninstall all of the items under "Universal Serial Bus." Shut down the PC and restart. Windows will automatically reinstall all the USB devices.

I have, on my xp sp2 computer, uninstalled everything under usb devices several times and never had a problem. They were reinstalled by xp when I rebooted.
