hello, yesterday i try to restore my Xp os and i lost almost half of hard disk size .now it is only 101 GB in C drive and 10 GB in D drive. i will be very thankfull if some one can help me to get my lost hard drive space. thanks

Once again you restore it on yesterday check point through safe mode.you will get it whatever lost data's

thanks for the reply.but its not working. i made system recovery disk (3 sets) and try to reinstall it with those disks because i have black screen before. when i finish reinstalation i lost space in hard disk. my total HDD size is 250 GB but now its only 111 GB.

I would guess the Recovery is done with the CD in its drive, then computer is Restarted. Then recovery process starts. Is that how you did it ?????? Most of those Recoveries return computer a factory new condition. Go here--- http://h18000.www1.hp.com/ then enter in your exact Model name, and number, then tick what information you want to know, then proceed from there.
