lost game cd key need help

I have a game installed on my pc but i need the cd key code to play on line and i lost the case with the cd key is there any way to get a new cd key or find it onthe disk or get it off the pc. thanks

all these online games only work with a 'legit' cd key. contact your vendor/manufacturer and have some proof of purchase handy.

you may be able to find it in the registry . some games will have have it in there. i belive in local machine /software area, give regedit a try to find it
