Help! I defraged my C drive and then attempted to defrag my other drive which is partioned into D and E drives. I now find that my second drives aren't there. The system shows no secondary master or slave installed on my system. What can I do to get them back. I have tried to restore but it changes nothing.

Did you check your BIOS to make sure the drives show up there first? If they don't, check your cable connections, then your BIOS settings, then if those are all ok, try flashing the BIOS to the most current version (download from mfg.'s website).

Thanks for the reply. I played about with the ram and the system finally recognised all my disks again. I've been having some problems with the system turning itself off and throwing up strange messages about checksum etc. Maybe time for a rebuild.
