Lost drive icon, need HELP !!!

hi All, looks like I have a small problem. after installing all my programs in to clean install windows XP Pro, I seen that my USB SanDisk external card reader from my digital camera lost the drive icon. when I go to windows explorer, or to my computer, the icon looks like a some file icon. is there a way to change a drive icon in windows XP. thank you; John.
