it was in word, typing so fast it promted me to save, and i said no, so it closed doen, must of hit control s by mistake

you can try search the word temp file.

Please see open the folder, cilck tool-->folder options--->view, and select "show hidden files and folders".

Could you see any "*.tmp" file or "~$filename.doc"?
