When I was trying to remove the W32.Welchia.Worm virus I accidentally deleted dllhost.exe along with DLLHOST.exe. After the computer was rebooted most applications stopped responding - couldn't recover dllhost.exe. Need help - any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

If u deleted dllhosts in both system32 and wins folders, then u can easily replace the genuine one via msconfig (type msconfig in the RUN box)

The file is compressed in XP's disk i386 folder.
Use the expand button to copy it back to system32.

GoodLuck
