New Dell 340 running XP Professional.
Every time (whether manual or automatic) my system syncs with an internet time server my software clock starts running 35% SLOW until I reboot. It does this with nothing else running (other than XP)
Dell has been ZERO help and keeps referring me to the same document that outlines narrowing down the application that can tie up system resources and cause time loss. I know what causes it: performing the OS function, internet time sync - I just don't know why or how to fix it.
Any help would be appreciated.
My workaround is to turn auto time sync OFF and when I manually invoke it I immediately reboot and everything is fine.
