losing programs?

I lost Microsoft word ,cant open it about 2 weeks ago,parameter not there,yesterday ,My mouse wouldnt work, went into safe mode and restored back a couple of weeks.mouse working fine,still cannot open word.any thoughts?

evilklown, Do a search for files for Normal.dot When you find it rename it to Oldnormal.dot then restart your computer and see if the problem is corrected. A new Normal.dot file will be created at the restart. Check out the link below.
