Hi, Wondering if anyone can help with this problem. Got a dell laptop running XP pro (12 month old) with 2 users installed, one with password, one without. The passworded user downloaded a bunch of pictures from his digital camera (Fujifilm Finepix A405) into the shared documents folder and these are all fine to view, edit etc. When the other user logs on, he can see all of the pictures in thumbnail form, but can only open about 20 of the 100 pictures (randomly, not just the first 20). When your look at the details of the files, only the ones that can be opened have dimensions and 'date picture taken' data. I tried changing some of the properties, but this came back with 'Access denied' which makes me think it is a ownership problem, though its very strange that only a selection of the photos are unavailable and not them all. If anyone has any suggestions, ideas or has had any similar problems it would be greatly appreciated as this one has got me completely stumped! Thanks in advance Jon

Have you checked the File permissions while logged on as Administrator?
