Can someone advise me why I lose (and then I have to reinstall) Macromedia Flash 10 every day or perhaps every other day? It is clearly defined in Control Panel (Add or Rmove Programs) and yet when I go to a site that needs it, I get the message "To view the section below, please install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player." This will hapen without me even shutting down the PC.

This is truly frustrating.

Sandor, Do the following;

Download the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller at the link below.

Close all open programs and run the Uninstaller.

Restart your computer.

Reinstall the Flash player

Hopefully your problem will be solved.

Are you running any registry cleanup tools? RegSrubXP, for example, is bad for screwing up flashplayer installed for IE.

trek1701A,

You hit it right on the head; I do run RegSrubXP periodically and it's deleting or corrupting Flashplayer.

Is there a comparable registry cleaner that will not corrupt Flashplayer?

Thanks,
Sandor

Sandor, My opinion of so called registry cleaners is to stay away from them. If you're not familiar with the registry they often do more harm than good.
