Losing Disk Space I Have Lost 1G. In 7d

I am loosing hard disk space everyday, and cant figure out why. I am running as clean as ever I empty internet files daily I do a disk clean daily and I have lost 1 GIG in the past 7 days. I even have my mail system as clean as a new computer. What the heak is going on?????????????????? Phil

i think the problem might be the system restore provided by the window system. u can turn it off by going into the system option.

I had the same prob with ME, it is sytsem restore, if you have a large hd windows default is about 3.5gb for system restore. You can decrease how much room you want system restore to use if you dont want to turn it off...go to sytem properties, then performance tab, then file system, and decrease the amount of space windows keeps for system restore by moving the slider back.
