loosing time

Hi, my pc keeps loosing time, about 30 seconds a day, ive changed the battery but its still loosing tim is there anything else that can affect it.

Since you are using XP, there is no reason not to use the internet time set up. Double click your time, you will get date and time properties. On the Internet Time tab, you can set your machine to synchronize with a couple of spots; I use the time.gov setting. This will adjust your time accurately on a weekly basis (or more often if you do it manually). Very accurate time that way, too.
