Hi people,

I am looking for some utils that i can run direct from a USB pen drive under Windows 200/XP/(Any other i might find in uni)

I want namely an archiver/unarchiver (preferrably with zip/rar), an audio player, antivirus, basic image editor, scientific calculator (preferrably with graph function) and mot importantly a programmers version of notepad (with syntax highlighting etc) - bit like gedit in *nix (if people know it)

Sure enough I can find these utils BUT

My requirement is that they can be execute from the USB pen drive without need to install and no traces left on the computer used unless I want it to.

I am quite happy with command line tools for those that can be (archiver/antivirus).

I would be eternally grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction. Or give me some links/names/etc.

So far I have gotten as far as finding reshack (that doesnt require installation anyway, hence i didn't note it here.)

Thanks

I hope you are not planning to use it on the job. There is no way you can escape the IR radars.

Thanks people. All good stuff, and no, it's not being used "on the job" I just need a huge selection of utils that wont be leaving unnecessary files behind on the computers I look after.

Now i need to post another question about one of these tools.
