Hey everyone. been browsing the web for a particular program. Im looking for something with the capabilities of COMMVIEW, which essentially detects packets/data in/out to my PC. What i wish it had was a method of terminating said connections with a click. I have zone alarm atm which is nice, however i need to manaully enter the IP's which is time consuming and ultimately annoying. Any program out there that will solve my problem?

Hi there. I do not know if this is exactly what you want but it works for me. I have Sygate Personal Firewall (freebie) installed. This program learns as it goes along. When first installed and there is movement into and out of your computer, the program pops up a window and asks you do you want to let it through. You have the option of "Yes", "No" and the tickbox of "remember my setting". When first installed there are lot of these window popups but as the program learns they get less. You always have the option to reverse your 'choice' should you happen to need the previous "denied access" packet. It is not recommended running 2 firewalls at the same time, so you will have to dump yours if you are going to use this one. I hope this helps.
