OS: XP / Linux / Longhorn
CPU/Ram: 2200+ / 512DDR
Comment:

Fresh install of Longhorn took up 350MB of RAM. No other applications installed. I clicked on My computer instantly my ram usage jumped to 450MB.

I checked out some of my porn because longhorns viewer is better than XPs and I was maxing out my ram at 500MB.

looks like 512 is a minimum

but 1 GIG is recommended by me

cheers

PS It has IPv6 installed as default network settings sounds interesting huh

my computer is choking

The OS is still far from being complete, right now what you see is what you get.

Knowing M$ the Gold version may bare little or no semblance to what is out there now.

It looks like theres some MAJOR memory leaks there. Just wait till the finished product, it'll probably be fixed.

Discussion? there are only three people in the world mad enough to be using it.

Imagine moving into a house that was only half built.................

If it had a better UI I would buy a 14" touch screen tablet and dump the pc.
