Hey guys,

I've been having 25+ seconds shutdown time which is much above what this computer use to do not too long back.

I've tried different tweaks such as setting App timeout, hang time, service time out lower but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Appreciate it!

AMD Athlon XP 2800 OC to 2200Mhz

25+ SECONDS shutdown time is not long compared to what others have reported in terms of many MINUTES. You neglected to tell us how many programs processes you have running that must be stopped. You also neglected to tell us if you have AV running in memory. Lastly, You neglected to tell us if you have Clear Pagefile at shutdown option enabled. Altogether these can cause a significant delay in the shutdown process.

No clear page file shutdown,

no processes start up with the computer or go down with the computer that arent necessary

Even if there were I posted in the first post that I set their kill time to 1-2 seconds processes, services, programs, etc
