Logon error message with the regular logon

October 11, 2011 at 13:56:41
Specs: Windows XP
I have Windows XP Media Center edition and when it loads the login page, I see 2 boxes.
One is the regular "Log on to Windows" with username and PW and the second (overlapping) is a "Logon message" saying The system could not log you on. Make sure your user name and pw are correct, etc, etc.
Since I do not have a password on the login, I simply hit the "return' button and windows execute properly.
My question is : How can I get rid of the error message which is popping out with the regular logon box.
Thanks for your cooperation.

That will not remove the second unwanted logon message.
Consequently, this suggestion would only hide the problem and not solve it.
Still awaiting for a solution that would really eliminate the error message being displayed along with the regular logon message.
