By changing the local/security policies on my XP Professional stand-alone machine, after a hacker had entered the system, I have unfortunately locked myself out of my own system! Now, when I restart, my logon password is rejected by the following message:
"THE LOCAL POLICY OF THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT PERMIT YOU TO LOGON INTERACTIVELY"
There's even more trouble...
The 'Log on to windows' window also contains this message:
"THE SECURITY LOG ON THIS SYSTEM IS FULL. ONLY ADMINISTRATORS CAN LOGON TO FIX THE PROBLEM"
Please note that even my attempts to logon as 'Administrator'(blank password) fail no matter what boot-mode I try!So, is there anyway to get past this without having to pay 265€ for an uncertain outcome if I use Microsoft's Help??Desk?
I am willing to go as far as re-formatting the drive(but how-locked out).
As I now how to resort to the local library's slow connection, please forward any suggestions publicly.
I will check for help until Friday 21 November 2003, about 14:00(GMT+1) before buying new harddisk.
THANX for reading, CAN YOU HELP?
