I have a logitech mouse and it doesnt turn off when i turn off my pc. the red light still is all on n stuff.. is there a way to get it to turn off with my pc?
im on xp..

Assume this is an optical mouse. Only way to get it to turn off is remove the batteries. They last a long time, but be sure to replace them when it begins to act sluggish.

it turned off before. but i reinstalled xp and now it doesnt. yes its an optical mouse sorry.

Interesting. Mine has never turned off. Mine is USB. Maybe that's a difference?

I also have the same mouse connected to ps/2 port - the mouse gets turned off when the PC is shut down. If yours is ps/2, check the power option.
