Whenever I shutdown/restart my computer, the Logitech Desktop Hook message tells me that my mouse is out of batteries and hangs the computer from the shut down process. It does this every single time I try to shut down/restart my computer when my batteries in my mouse is low. I don't want it to do that becuase whenever I tell it to shut down and leave my computer, then the computer hangs without me knowing and its a pain in the butt. The problem is that when I install the software, it also installs the alert message which hangs the shutdown process. Its really annoying. If I don't install the software, the mouse doesn't behave the way it should behave, i.e. the mouse is too fast and the features on the mouse and keyboard are very basic.
