Hi, i'd like to know how exactly to put a batch script to start on a specific user logon in windows XP. I have a command line i'd like to do automatically when a particular user logs on to his account.

Thanks :)

Create the batch file and put it in:
?:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

The bat file doesn't seem to run when login in when i put the file there. I tested the .bat file by itself it works fine.

What you gave me, is it not just a place for shortcuts ?

Someone else has an idea ? I'm using this to fix a different resolution for each users at logon, and i use MultiRes soft, and my commands are as simple as

multires /(800,600,32,70) /exit

and this work when done into a .bat file and i click on it...

i just need to know how to tell windows to start it up on a particular user account

Thank you again
