Hey im using a Dell Latitude and there is only one account (Administrator) and nothing else. I cannot login as i donot know the password and i tried safe mode but there was no second account and i do not want to mess with the registry because its my dads computer and i screwed it up last time. I need a clean way to keep his account intact but kind of bypass or "crack" the login screen.
PS There is no guest account.

You borked the man's machine the last time, is it any surprise that he decided to put an admin password on the dang thing?
He doesn't want you anywhere near the PC -- get it!

You really have only 1 option: Get on another computer, download a password cracker that is bootable and burn it on a CD-R then run it on this computer by pressing F12 at the Dell logo & choosing to boot to the cd-rom/dvd-rom drive.
