hi I recently wanted to start using a password at the welcome screen. but when it starts up right before the welcome screen should come up I get a loud beep and an error message that states in the header "Logon Message" and the message reads : The system could not log you on. Make sure your username and domain are correct, then type passwoed again. Letters in password are case sensitive.
at the bottom of the box there is an ok button.. and behind this box there looks to be a clasic windows logon box... after I click ok.. it goes to the welcome screen and then I can login.
and idea what this is and how to get rid of it?

You may have autologon enabled. I'm not sure where it is found but, I had seen a similar problem once before. Microsofts support page could help you solve that.
