i have windows xp media edition. the log on to windows box just starting coming up and this is my wifes computer before we got married and she cant remember the password. is there anyway to bypass it?

when you turn the computer press F8 'i think' and it will come up to a screen giving you options on how to boot up, choose safe mode and let it run, when you get to the login screen choose administrater and this will let you take of passwords
