i have a laptop and it has winXP. i never set a password on windows. yesterday i brought the laptop to my school computer lab. i dont know which redneck set a password on my windows while i stepped away to help my professor. when i got back home and turned on my laptop. it asked me a password. i couldnt log in to windows. any idea?

Log on as an administrator to reset the "redneck" password.
You do the above, by starting Windows XP in safe mode and log on as the administrator, since you implied there was no password - leave the administartor' password field blank when you are logging on in safe mode.
Once you are successfully logged into WIndows .
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the box, type control userpasswords2 and click OK:
Click the "redneck" account that you don't have the password for, and then click Reset Password.
Type a new password in both the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and then click OK.
