Is there a 'trick' so that my taskbar will *not* be moveable?

I can lock the taskbar but all you need to do to move it is to right click on the Taskbar and uncheck the lock option. Or go into the taskbar applet.

I have a tweak program, CustomizerXP, that restricts access to the taskbar applet but you can still right click on the taskbar and uncheck lock the taskbar. Close but no cigar.

I like the taskbar at the top of my screen but my kids keep unlocking it an moving it to the bottom. They say I'm the only person in the world that likes it at the top :-).

I am no expert, but:

In Windows HELP Index, type:

user accounts

Seems to me that if you have the ADMIN. account (with a password), and they have a Limited account, they could only mess up their part of Windows.

Note:
In HELP also see:
recovering passwords

I forgot to mention that everyone in my house logs on as ADMIN.

I had too many problems giving everyone their own accounts.

The following is only available in XP Pro.

Go to Start>Run Type gpedit.msc
User configuration>Administative Templates>Start menu and taskbar - Enable Lock the taskbar

Thanks for the solution to my problem!

Does exactly what I want.

Can't wait to see my kids reaction when they can't move the TB anymore.

btw... do you know of a site that lists all the goodies that you get when running gpedit.msc? There's a lot of tweaks in there. Would be nice to have a list of what they do.
