Is it possible to password protect a file? Also is it possible to keep some files invisible when a search is run for them? I have to keep customers social security numbers on file and just had to press charges for identity thefy by an employee. Can you help?

Do not install MS Private folder on the job PC or else you will be fired. This is the reason why M$ pulled it less than a week after posting it on their site for free download.

It locks files, folders, programs, launches, Desktop, computer.. Anything.

As for losing your password. Contact them and prove you are the license holder and they will let you in.
