Locked out of Registry!

I am locked out of my own registry. I am the administrator, but when I try to run Regedit.exe, it says 'Registry Editing has been disabled by your administrator. Please help me.

Hummm not jumping to conclusions. But i had a simular issue when i tried to change a setting or do anyhting. It turned out to be a virus. Like it i would even change the desktop wallpaper i would get the same message you got. It turned out to be a genirc virus called bloodhound.packed

I fixed the problem by making another admin account. Now I just need to find out how to get rid of Norton registry...
